There were <\/span>36 mem\u00adbers present on their com\u00adput\u00aders or phones for our Kiwa\u00adnis Eye of the Tiger e\u2011club meet\u00ading held on the evening of April 16th. From Cal\u00adi\u00adfor\u00adnia to Jamaica, Ontario to Flori\u00adda, our club of 56 mem\u00adbers strong enjoyed the oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adty to con\u00adnect once again. With every area of the world con\u00adfronting the cur\u00adrent pan\u00addem\u00adic, it is good to know that Kiwa\u00adni\u00adans con\u00adtin\u00adue to make a difference.<\/span><\/p>\n

We wel\u00adcomed Coleen Law\u00adson-Tay\u00adlor, EC<\/span>&<\/span>C, Lt. Gov. Des\u00adig\u00adnate Div. 25 from Mon\u00adtego Bay, Jamaica to our meet\u00ading. Our Past Inter\u00adna\u00adtion\u00adal Pres\u00adi\u00addent Jim Rochford intro\u00adduced our newest mem\u00adber as an accom\u00adplished Club open\u00ader in her own right. We are thrilled to have anoth\u00ader mem\u00adber of the great Dis\u00adtrict of East\u00adern Cana\u00adda and Caribbean join\u00ading our club. Coleen believes in our mis\u00adsion to grow Kiwanis.<\/span><\/p>\n

As well, we are pleased to announce the inclu\u00adsion of Tom\u00admy Mills of the Tal\u00adla\u00adhas\u00adsee Kiwa\u00adnis Club. Sec\u00adre\u00adtary Alan Guire spoke about Tom\u00admy as an ener\u00adgetic Mem\u00adber\u00adship Coor\u00addi\u00adna\u00adtor of the great Flori\u00adda Dis\u00adtrict of Kiwa\u00adnis. Tom\u00admy will bring his enthu\u00adsi\u00adasm for Kiwa\u00adnis mem\u00adber\u00adship expan\u00adsion in Flori\u00adda along with his com\u00admit\u00adment to mak\u00ading a dif\u00adfer\u00adence in his com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adty to our club.<\/span><\/p>\n

Last, but def\u00adi\u00adnite\u00adly not least, Cae\u00adsar Milch was intro\u00adduced by our Trea\u00adsur\u00ader Valar\u00adie Brown-Klin\u00adgel\u00adhoe\u00adfer. Cae\u00adsar is the cur\u00adrent Pres\u00adi\u00addent of the Kiwa\u00adnis Club of Bur\u00adbank. As a lawyer and an accom\u00adplished auc\u00adtion\u00adeer, two attrib\u00adut\u00ades he shares with our sage Jim, Cae\u00adsar is a ded\u00adi\u00adcat\u00aded mem\u00adber our home Cal\u00adNevHa Dis\u00adtrict join\u00ading a strong west coast con\u00adtin\u00adgent in our EOT<\/span> club.<\/span><\/p>\n

We have sev\u00ader\u00adal mem\u00adbers that we hope will be on board short\u00adly. They are <\/span>Past Gov\u00ader\u00adnor of the New York Dis\u00adtrict, Forbes Irvine, cur\u00adrent Gov\u00ader\u00adnor of Ken\u00adtucky-Ten\u00adnessee Kendra Skid\u00admore and Mon\u00adi\u00adca Fran\u00adco of the small but mighty Rocky Moun\u00adtain District.<\/span><\/p>\n

We are pleased that the finan\u00adcial review com\u00admit\u00adtee has been formed and now in the capa\u00adble hands of EOT<\/span> mem\u00adbers Armand St. Ray\u00admond, Bill See\u00adman and Dewey Smith. They have set a tar\u00adget date of May 17 to sub\u00admit their review of our finances to the club board. Thank you to the com\u00admit\u00adtee mem\u00adbers and trea\u00adsur\u00ader Valar\u00adie for keep\u00ading us on track.<\/span><\/p>\n

Speak\u00ading of being on track, we will have our Annu\u00adal Gen\u00ader\u00adal Meet\u00ading as a club on May 21st<\/strong> to vote on our Board of Direc\u00adtors for the 2020\u20132021 year. Our nom\u00adi\u00adnat\u00ading com\u00admit\u00adtee com\u00adprised of Gary Levine, Joe Mey\u00ader and Jim Rochford pre\u00adsent\u00aded the fol\u00adlow\u00ading slate offi\u00adcers at our meet\u00ading for your consideration.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our EOT<\/span> Club is hop\u00ading to have rep\u00adre\u00adsen\u00adta\u00adtion from every Dis\u00adtrict to pro\u00admote our mes\u00adsage that it is vital to open new clubs and encour\u00adage mem\u00adber\u00adship mind\u00aded mem\u00adbers to seek lead\u00ader\u00adship roles. Beyond North Amer\u00adi\u00adca, only Malaysia is rep\u00adre\u00adsent\u00aded internationally. <\/span><\/p>\n
