Our Eye of the Tiger meet\u00ading was held on Decem\u00adber 19th<\/sup> at 7 p.m. East\u00adern Stan\u00addard time. Thir\u00adteen mem\u00adbers were able to attend dur\u00ading this busy hol\u00adi\u00adday time of the year. They were warm\u00adly wel\u00adcomed by our Pres\u00adi\u00addent Barb Thomp\u00adson. She expressed her sin\u00adcere appre\u00adci\u00ada\u00adtion for those who were able to attend and to those who sent regrets due to oth\u00ader commitments.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our Trea\u00adsur\u00ader Valar\u00adie Brown-Klin\u00adgel\u00adhoe\u00adfer report\u00aded on the club\u2019s cur\u00adrent finan\u00adcial sit\u00adu\u00ada\u00adtion. We have $800 in the ser\u00advice account and $2080 in our admin\u00adis\u00adtra\u00adtive account. There were no addi\u00adtion\u00adal expen\u00addi\u00adtures to report since our Novem\u00adber meet\u00ading. All bills are paid includ\u00ading Kiwa\u00adnis Inter\u00adna\u00adtion\u00adal and our Cal\u00adNe\u00adva District.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our busy Sec\u00adre\u00adtary Alan Guire remind\u00aded us that we should look to recruit new mem\u00adbers to our fifty-one mem\u00adbers strong Eye of the Tiger club. We hope to recruit Kiwa\u00adni\u00adans from Dis\u00adtricts where we cur\u00adrent\u00adly have no rep\u00adre\u00adsen\u00adta\u00adtion in our club. This help to spread the word about our focus to con\u00adtin\u00adue the effort to open new clubs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Past Inter\u00adna\u00adtion\u00adal Pres\u00adi\u00addent Jim Rochford report\u00aded on the progress of new club open\u00adings dur\u00ading the first quar\u00adter of the year. As of our Decem\u00adber meet\u00ading, there were 32 new clubs opened. Unfor\u00adtu\u00adnate\u00adly, this is crit\u00adi\u00adcal\u00adly behind the efforts of the pre\u00advi\u00adous two years. Tai\u00adwan is lead\u00ading in the club open\u00ading efforts thus far. The Kiwa\u00adnis Inter\u00adna\u00adtion\u00adal goal for this year is 355 new clubs. At the begin\u00adning of the year, our mem\u00adber\u00adship had dropped to 189000 members.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is a three-club open\u00ading blitz being planned in March in Cal\u00adi\u00adfor\u00adnia. Please let Valar\u00adie know if you might be inter\u00adest\u00aded in volunteering.<\/span><\/p>\n

Birth\u00adday best wish\u00ades go out to Chuck and Emil\u00adia Gugli\u00aduz\u00adza as Emil\u00adia cel\u00ade\u00adbrates on the 10th of this month and Chuck fol\u00adlows short\u00adly behind on the 20th. We also extend our best wish\u00ades to Roge\u00adna Woods-Mitchell who will cel\u00ade\u00adbrate on the 29th. All of us wish you a very hap\u00adpy birth\u00adday and a hap\u00adpy, healthy year ahead. A few Tigers do not appear to have their birth\u00adday list\u00aded with KI<\/span> so I do apol\u00ado\u00adgize if I missed you. If so, please do let me know<\/a>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
