Dear Fel\u00adlow Mem\u00adbers of the Eye of the Tiger eKi\u00adwa\u00adnis Club,<\/span><\/p>\n

Hap\u00adpy New Year! I hope that you enjoyed and cel\u00ade\u00adbrat\u00aded your Decem\u00adber hol\u00adi\u00adday and new year with time with friends and fam\u00adi\u00adly. New year, new ener\u00adgy, new mem\u00adbers, new clubs! Now it is 2020\u2014a new cal\u00aden\u00addar year and one-fourth of the way through the 2019\u201320 Kiwa\u00adnis year.<\/span><\/p>\n

To avoid a decline in mem\u00adber\u00adship, we must exceed the num\u00adber of new clubs opened last year. Clear\u00adly, our time to build new clubs is NOW<\/span>. A look at local, nation\u00adal, or inter\u00adna\u00adtion\u00adal news tells us that the need for Kiwa\u00adnis is still great.<\/span><\/p>\n

Char\u00adlie and I are cur\u00adrent\u00adly vis\u00adit\u00ading our son &<\/span> his fianc\u00e9 in Roat\u00e1n, Hon\u00adduras, at the small hotel-restau\u00adrant-bou\u00adtique that they own and run here. I was thrilled when they asked us if we would like to do a ser\u00advice project with them for a local school that serves chil\u00addren whose lives have been affect\u00aded by AIDS<\/span>. They have a con\u00adnec\u00adtion with the school as two of their wait\u00adress\u00ades are also teach\u00aders at the school.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our son &<\/span> his fianc\u00e9 want to inves\u00adti\u00adgate ser\u00advice projects for the stu\u00addents because so many of their guests tell them that they want to give back to the com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adty, which is very poor. This ser\u00advice may become part of the menu of activ\u00adi\u00adties offered to guests, many of whom scu\u00adba dive in the morn\u00adings, and then have time to serve others.<\/span><\/p>\n

The desire to serve is strong in mil\u00adlen\u00adni\u00adals and younger, and the need is great. Kids need Kiwa\u00adnis! Kiwa\u00adnis needs YOU<\/span> and me to keep the orga\u00adni\u00adza\u00adtion strong and healthy and to con\u00adtin\u00adue to orga\u00adnize clubs in com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adties that are not yet served by a Kiwa\u00adnis club. Remem\u00adber that char\u00adter mem\u00adbers of new clubs orga\u00adnized Jan\u00adu\u00adary-Sep\u00adtem\u00adber 2020 do not have to pay club dues and fees again until Octo\u00adber 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n
