<\/a>The Eye of the Tiger eKiwanis Club<\/h2>\n

In our 2017 \u2014 2018 Kiwa\u00adnis year, under the lead\u00ader\u00adship of then Inter\u00adna\u00adtion\u00adal Pres\u00adi\u00addent, Jim Rochford, we broke an almost 30 year mem\u00adber\u00adship decline with the open\u00ading of 415 new Kiwa\u00adnis clubs and a glob\u00adal net increase in mem\u00adber\u00adship. A lot of Kiwa\u00adni\u00adans from all over the world put in time and ener\u00adgy to bring about this suc\u00adcess. Even at that, it did\u00adn\u2019t hap\u00adpen by acci\u00addent. It hap\u00adpened because of devel\u00adop\u00ading process affec\u00adtion\u00adate\u00adly referred to as The Eye of the Tiger.<\/p>\n

In the 1982 film, Rocky III<\/span>, Rocky Bal\u00adboa comes back to regain his title by first becom\u00ading laser focused on win\u00adning his match. He must put all else aside and devel\u00adop an eye like the tiger on a hunt. He does, and he wins. In the Kiwa\u00adnis world of new club open\u00ading we, too, must put aside dis\u00adtrac\u00adtions and approach our task with the sin\u00adgle mind\u00aded focus of a tiger on the hunt. We must devel\u00adop our eye of the tiger. By doing so, and fol\u00adlow\u00ading the steps that  have been doc\u00adu\u00adment\u00aded to suc\u00adceed, we too will fin the fight against a declin\u00ading mem\u00adber\u00adship. We have. We are. And will will.<\/p>\n

At the end of that Kiwa\u00adnis admin\u00adis\u00adtra\u00adtive year, in part to com\u00admem\u00ado\u00adrate our suc\u00adcess, we formed this eye of the tiger vir\u00adtu\u00adal Kiwa\u00adnis club. Made up of club open\u00aders all over the world our goals are:<\/p>\n

    3. Devel\u00adop lead\u00aders at Dis\u00adtrict and inter\u00adna\u00adtion\u00adal Lev\u00adel in the cul\u00adture of grow\u00ading Kiwanis<\/li>\n
    4. Do a large scale ser\u00advice project<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
